The Executive of the Vegreville Wildlife Federation will meet at 7:00 PM at the VWF Alder Building, located at 5121 – 50 Street, Vegreville, AB.
Executive members are encouraged to attend as we continue working together to support conservation, responsible outdoor recreation, and our local wildlife community.
We appreciate your time and commitment and look forward to a productive discussion.

Please be advised that an Executive Meeting of the Vegreville Wildlife Federation will take place at 7:00 PM at the VWF Alder Building, 5121 – 50 Street, Vegreville, Alberta.
The Executive will review ongoing business, discuss operational matters, and plan upcoming activities. Attendance and participation by Executive members are appreciated as we continue to support the Federation’s goals and initiatives.

Join us for a full weekend of outdoor archery at the Vegreville Wildlife Federation range!
Event Format
Saturday: Two rounds of 24 targets
Sunday: One round of 24 targets
Saturday: Novelty Shoot-Off

Vegreville Wildlife Federation Outdoor Range
Just north of the golf course on Range Road 145
Registration: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Shotgun Start: 10:00 AM
Entry Fees
Adults (15+): $30 per day or $50 for the weekend
Youth (10–14): $20 per day or $35 for the weekend
Kids (9 & under): $10 per day or $20 for the weekend
Primitive camping is available on site (no fires permitted).
Concession will be available on site.
Please note:
No broadheads permitted.
Range finders are allowed.
We will also be hosting a Food Bank Donation Drive during the event — your support is appreciated.
Expect lots of prizes and surprises throughout the weekend!

Camrose Casino for VWF
Casino Fundraiser – Camrose, AB
We’re hosting a casino fundraiser in Camrose to support the Vegreville Wildlife Federation and its programs, and we’re looking for six reliable volunteers to help make it happen.
This event plays a big role in funding conservation work and youth programs. If you’re able to give a bit of your time, it would make a real difference.

Join us for the Vegreville Wildlife Federation Annual General Meeting on January 8, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.
We are actively seeking engaged members to step into board and chair positions. This is a great opportunity to contribute to local conservation efforts, support youth programming, and help shape the Federation's future.

Range Closure
Please note that the Range will be closed for Tuesday, August 26th (all day) and Wednesday, August 27th (all day) as the farmer is working behind the range. The gates will be double locked. Thank you for understanding.
Volunteers Needed - Work 🐝 at the Range
Volunteers Needed – Work Bee at the Range
We need your help! Volunteers are needed to assist with removing backstops in preparation for berm upgrades.
Date: Sunday, July 20th
Location: Outdoor Range
Arrival Time: Please arrive by 9:00 am
What to Bring:
Work gloves and appropriate outdoor clothing
Snacks, water, and any needed personal supplies
Be ready for manual labour
Your time and effort help keep our range safe and operational — thank you in advance!
Notice: Temporary Range Closure
The Outdoor Range will be closed from July 20–26 (inclusive) for berm upgrades to meet required height regulations.
All outdoor programs will be paused during this time.
