    Archery Programs

    Where young hands learn the art of the bow, the ethics of the hunt, and a deep respect for Alberta’s wild spaces.

    Registration is now open for the 2025/2026 season. Please note that Archery does NOT begin until October!

    Trap and Pistol Programs

    Skills for life. Respect for nature. Community in every shot.

    Trap programs are held Sunday afternoons from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at the outdoor range. And pistol programs are on Thursday evenings.

VWF

Scholarship

Apply Now

The Vegreville Wildlife Federation Scholarship is a $500 award created to support young members (or dependents of members) who are actively involved in their community and the outdoors as they continue their post-secondary education.

Eligibility

  • Member in good standing or dependent of a member of the VWF

  • Ages 17–25

  • Accepted to or currently attending a Canadian post-secondary program (minimum 1 year, full-time)

  • Willing to complete a short in-person or video interview with the scholarship committee

Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate active involvement in the VWF, their community, and their school.

Important Dates

  • Applications Open: October 13, 2025

  • Applications Close: November 10, 2025

  • Recipient Announced: Before December 15, 2025

  • Funds Distributed: By December 31, 2025
