Pistol Program
The Vegreville Wildlife Federation offers a variety of pistol shooting programs designed to support both new and experienced shooters in a safe, structured, and welcoming environment.
Pistol program - thursday evenings, 7:00 pm.
May through September at the outdoor range.
July Notice: No pistol program during the month of July.
Program Highlights:
Weekly pistol nights for practice and skill development
Supervised range use with certified Range Officers
Opportunities to learn proper safety, handling, and technique
Fun shoots and friendly competitions throughout the year
Focus on safety, confidence building, and responsible firearm use
Who Can Participate:
Open to VWF members with a valid PAL
Beginners welcome — mentorship available
All shooters must follow range rules and sign-in procedures
Equipment:
Bring your restricted handgun and ammunition
Eye and ear protection are required at all times. The range does not supply this, so please bring your own.
Firearms must be transported and handled in accordance with Canadian laws
VWF membership must be worn at all times while on the range.
